Your soul

Well, it was more than a conference. It was an weekend of abundant life! The more I study life and all that it means, the more I realise that we have been had. The world has sold us a dud.

It is of little value to strive for success as measured by world standards. When you “get there” in the worldly scheme of success, you haven’t achieved anything but mortgaged your soul for a piece of gold. People are worth much more than that. The deal is unfairly balanced in the worlds favour.

The world needs a steadily increasing supply of people to take out soul mortgages. Without this ongoing supply the worldly systems will begin to shut down. We are so used to every little convenience that shutting down even a tenth of it would probably mean disaster on a massive scale.

Are you trading your soul for less than what it is worth? How much is it worth to you? I am guessing that most if not all that you earn each week is spent keeping the world systems going. How much did you put away as savings last month? This time last year? Five years ago? Of those amounts, how much is left?

If you answered “nothing” then you might want to look for a better deal for your soul. What do you think it is worth? Can any amount of money compensate for taking from you what is your most precious “self”? Can anyone offer you a deal where both sides come out winners? Where you get to keep your soul intact - no mortgage - at a cost to you that is well within your budget.

Is there such a deal available? I believe there is and it doesn’t necessarily mean changing jobs. It might involves some adjustments to your life, but nothing that will cause you to lose out big-time like you have been up till now.
