Internet Business - The top ten blogs
January 10, 2008 – 1:49 am
Have you ever wondered which are the top ten blogs on building an internet business?
This list may not be 100% accurate. It is definitely not scientific, but it is interesting.
To be on this list a blog must rank high in an internet search for the term Internet Business Blog, be updated regularly (daily posts rate well) and therefore have had several news posts in 2008. No posts = automatic exclusion.
The blog also had to have a personal look and feel, not a link farm plastered with banners and Google ads, and have good quality content.
Here they are, in no particular order …
- Dane Carlson http://www.business-opportunities.biz/
- James D. Brausch http://www.jamesbrausch.com/
- Yaro Starak http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/
- Terry Dean http://www.terrydean.org/
- Aaron Brandon http://aaronbrandon.com/
- Lee McIntyre http://lee-mcintyre.com/blog/
- Pat B Doyle http://www.patbdoyle.com/
- Richard Lee http://richardlee.com/
- Jack S. Keifer http://www.jackkeifer.com/
- …
I had to leave off number 10. I checked a few different search engines, bypassed countless blogs with the “latest” post being sometime in 2007 and run out of enthusiasm once I reached the 4th or 5th page of search results. I only found 9 that I liked and have signed up to read more of their work.
Put your own favorite blogger in at number 10.
Brendan.

Brendan, thanks for putting my blog on your list! Some of my favorite bloggers are already on your list too. I would like to nominate another favorite of mine, Self Made Chick, http://selfmadechick.com/ for your #10.

I understand why mine is not in the above list yet. It shouldn’t take that long though till my site will also rank among the Top 20 at Google.

Hey Brendan,
James Brausch referred me to your post. You just showed me some nice new blogs to read.
Actually, is that a good or a bad thing - since it is consuming a lot of my time?
Still thanks!

Hi Brendan,
I don’t suppose I can nominate myself?
As you already have most of my favourite blogs in places 1-9, then I’d add Robert Phillips - http://www.cybercashology.com/
-Frank Haywood.

$Pat - Thanks for your feedback. selfmadechick.com contains some really passionately written content and I appreciate the link.
$Marcus - Thanks for the comment. I wish you well with your site and business.
$Dave - I know what you mean about reading. But I have found it to be very inspiring to read about the success being experienced by others. I find that it is worth the investment of my time.
$Frank - Thanks for the recommendation. I did see Robert’s blog when I went looking for the top 10 but it did not appeal to me in the same way as the other 9. Yours, on the other hand, is quite good and I have signed up. There goes another fews hours each week!!! So for now, I think the number 10 spot goes to you.
- Brendan.
